Following numerous requests made by localities nationwide to the Ministry of Transport about their desire to build airports, concerns have been raised by the public and economic experts regarding their feasibility and economic efficiency.

Statistics clearly show that the local air transport market has developed considerably over the past 10 years, securing a double-digit growth rate of 15.8% annually.
Data released by the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam (CAAV) indicates the domestic air transport market grew by 17.1% in terms of passenger numbers and 13.8% in terms of cargo volume between 2008 and 2019. The fleet available for domestic flights increased by 3.5 times compared to 2008,

It is cheaper than ever to travel now as prices have dropped amid the pandemic, while this time of year is usually the slowest for the tourism sector.

Stay in 5-star hotel for two days”. “VND7.7 million per traveler for 3-day-and-2 night trip, including return ticket for 5-star Six Senses Ninh Van Bay in Nha Trang.

While 26 percent of recipients of AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine in Vietnam have exhibited mild to severe local reactions, a health official reassured the reaction rates observed so far are “equivalent” to those in other types of inoculation.
COVID-19 vaccination in Vietnam began on Monday, and by Friday about 5,300 people in 12 provinces and cities had received their first jab of the AstraZeneca vaccine.
Among them, 26 percent exhibited local reactions, according to the country’s Preventive Medicine Department (PMD) vice-director Nguyen Minh Hang.

A number of proposals by cities and provinces to build an airport have been announced. On February 25, the Peopleâs Committee of the southern province of Binh Phuoc proposed to the Ministry of Transport (MoT) to have Binh Phuoc airport included in the national planning on airport development for 2021-2030, with a vision towards 2050.
