You see that some cars are making their way around the art museum. Right over there by akens oval, that is shut down. The ben franklin parkway shut down. We will see some closures expanding to the side streets from 21st to 24th street. Parts of spring garden, and a few spots will be local access only. Thousands in our area. Faculty members in 14 state universities are now on strike. Pro fess sorries walked off the job at 4 00 this morning. Nbc 10 was at several of the schools today, professors at West Chester University held picket signs and they marched on campus. The five local communities impacted. East stroutdsburg, kutztown, millersville, cookstown. Randy, what is the pulse there on campus as the students are impacted by this strike . Reporter this is the scene happening at campuses all across pennsylvania. These professors left their offices and classrooms early this morning and they tell us theyre not going back until they get what theyre calling a fair contract. Theyre not even allowed to go back on to the campus itself, so theyre out here on the street. Some students supporting them, others questioning how long this strike could last. With classes shut down, students take to the streets, like cookstown senior ashley mave supporting the professors. I support them because the
