Heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected over Maldives for the next 48 hours.
Maldives Meteorological Service said that fairly widespread rain with occasional heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected over the country during the next 48 hours “under the influence of the persisting trough”.
Further, strong winds and rough seas are likely between Haa Alifu and Haa Dhaalu atolls.
