Fairfield District 112 will hold kindergarten registration at North Side School Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is to complete paperwork for children who will attend kindergarten at North Side this fall. North Wayne EMS responded to a single-vehicle accident about a mile west of Cisne yesterday morning. According to county deputies, at approximately 8:45, 27-year-old Cisne resident Erick J. Powell was eastbound on a county highway. He said he woke up in his 2015 GMC Terrain after hitting a tree and fence post but did not remember driving off the roadway.
