Our Correspondent Kohima, Nov. 2 (EMN): A cultural programme was organised in honour of Droupadi Murmu, President of India, on Wednesday evening at the State Banquet hall in Kohima. The cultural extravaganza showcased colourful arrays of Naga costumes through dance and music performed by various artistes in traditional attires. Murmu, who is on a two-day visit to the state of Nagaland, was received by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, Deputy CM Yanthungo Patton, advisor of Art & Culture and Tourism, H Khehovi Yepthomi and chief secretary, J Alam. The president was also presented with traditional gifts while being accorded a warm welcome.
