TEMPLE, Texas H-E-B s Excellence in Education awards kicked off it s 20th anniversary with a year-long Texas Loves Teachers Tour celebration. The food chain plans to visit schools and districts within it s community while handing out gift cards, cash prizes and more, according to the official website.
In addition to the tour, Texas public school teachers, principals, school districts and early childhood education centers, public or private, can now enter into the H-E-B Excellence in Education Award s random drawing for a chance to win a share of $100,000.
Educators, districts and schools have until May 4 to enter to win at https://texaslovesteachers.com.
Winners will be randomly selected and announced on May 8.

TEXAS, USA The H-E-B Excellence in Education Awards is giving away $100,000 in celebration of its 20 years of impact.
According to an Excellence in Education Awards press release, public school teachers, principals and school districts, as well as private or public early childhood education centers can enter-to-win a share of the prize.
Winners will be randomly selected and the prize will be divided as follows:
One public school will receive $20,000.
One childhood education center will receive $10,000.

Boerne Independent School District trustees approved a $291,000 purchase for 19 acres in the prestigious Springs of Cordillera Ranch neighborhood, where they are considering building an elementary school.
The district has seen considerable growth in the area east of Boerne near Bergheim in Kendall County. A demographer predicts growth in that area will continue and extend to the southern part of Kendall County and Boerne, Superintendent Thomas Price said.
