Some of Palm Springs Unified School District s top students, teachers, parents and volunteers will be honored for their achievements and contributions at a virtual celebration on May 28.
Presented by Palm Springs Unified School District’s Family Engagement Center, “PSUSD Excellence: A Virtual Tribute to Life Long Learning” will premiere at 5 p.m. on May 28 at https://bit.ly/familycenteryoutube. All are invited to the live-streamed event to feature recognition of the site and District Teachers of the Year, top 10 seniors from each high school, and outstanding parent volunteers and community partners

It s with Teacher Appreciation Week ( May 3rd- May 7th) just ahead and the end of school in mind that we want to feature a news story shared throughout the Crossroads of Vicker s Elementary School being nominated and awarded as one of 50 stops on the H.E.B s Excellence in Education, Texas Loves Teachers Tour!
It s the 20th anniversary of the Texas Love Teachers event and it kicked off in March, with the plan to tour 50 schools in 50 days throughout Texas giving away $20,000 in cash and prizes to school employees as well as hosting an appreciation event for each school that is visited along the way.

TEXAS, USA The H-E-B Excellence in Education Awards is giving away $100,000 in celebration of its 20 years of impact.
According to an Excellence in Education Awards press release, public school teachers, principals and school districts, as well as private or public early childhood education centers can enter-to-win a share of the prize.
Winners will be randomly selected and the prize will be divided as follows:
One public school will receive $20,000.
One childhood education center will receive $10,000.
