Workers board up a vacant unit in the Housing Project after police encountered a vicious dog inside. The pit bug mix known as psycho, and psycho today charged one of our officers. Our officer retreat and, having nowhere else to go, fired one round and killed the dog unfortunately. What we have seen if the local level in california is that cities like sacramento and los angeles have done local recordkeeping ordnances on ammunition and when they looked at the records, convicted criminals were walking into shops buying ammunition no questions asked. Thats a serious Public Safety issue that needs to be addressed in california. Theres no id check for bullets. People who sell bullets dont have to be licensed. So we need reasonable safeguards.
