NEW DELHI: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday carried out raids at six locations in Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir, including the residence of alleged kingpin Gurpratap Singh, in connection with the Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) narco-terror case, officials said. The seraches were made in connection with investigation of a Narco-terror module related to seizure of about 61 kgs of Heroin along with arms and ammunitions.
The searches were conducted on six accused persons who were arrested for hatching a criminal conspiracy for carrying out anti-national and unlawful activities.
Digital devices and other incriminating documents having financial details and accounts numbers have been seized for further scrutiny and analysis.

JAMMU: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday conducted searches at six places in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab in connection with its probe into a narco-terror case.
The case was registered after the busting of a narco-terror module and seizure of 61-kg heroin and a cache of arms and ammunition along the International Border (IB) here last year.
JAMMU: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday conducted searches at six locations, five in Jammu district and one in Tarn Taran district of Punjab, in connection with its investigation of a narco-terror module related to seizure of about 61kg heroin and arms and ammunitions at the International Border (IB) in Arnia of Jammu.
“A case was registered on September 20 last year at Arnia police station in connection with unprovoked firing at a police patrolling party from the Pakistan side to provide cover for smuggling activity. The case was re-registered by the NIA on November 26 and taken up for investigation,” an NIA officer said.

To tighten noose against Pakistan s spy agency, Inter-Service Intelligence s (ISI s), narco- terror module, National Investigation Agency (NIA) today conducted a raid at several places in Jammu and Punjab region.
The raid was conducted by NIA sleuths in six locations - five in Jammu district and one in Tarn-Taran area of Punjab - in connection with the investigation of a narco-terror module related to the seizure of about 61 kilograms of heroine that was seized by BSF along the international border in Arnia sub-sector of R S Pura on intervening night of September 19 and 20 last year.
