Hostile elements attempted to take over the communication network of an El Al plane flying from Phuket to Ben-Gurion Airport on Saturday night and divert it from its destination, Israel s national.
The timing is far from ideal but the move, despite the current bloody conflict, could be positive in the long term given past revenue performance of potentially $1.5 million a day at Israel’s main air gateway.
