so in the law enforcement world, you have cold scenes, hot scenes, and warm scenes. the hot scene is where there s a shooting going on, there s a danger to somebody immediately. the cold scene is outside, far away, where everybody is safe. the warm zone inside is where rescue traffic crew goes to, because a warm zone inside allows it s a possibility that it could turn into a hot zone. and you don t want to send fire and emergency management into a facility when you might have still a shooter or even perhaps a bomb that s been placed or something like that. so you send them in, in a rescue task force form, which is a combined law enforcement, fire, ems, where the law enforcement, the job of law enforcement is to protect, protect the people they re taking inside. so it s a different mission for law enforcement. the law enforcement goes in ahead of fire and ems, and all they do is focus all fire and ems is focus on taking people
