The Gujarat High Court on Thursday slammed officials of the Income Tax Department at Ahmedabad for the manner in which they conducted a raid at the office and house of an advocate.
Chief Justice Sunita Agarwal had in September said that she was working towards doing away with the practice of the judges issuing 'rule nisi' and adjourning bail applications for two or more weeks.

A division bench of Chief Justice Sunita Agarwal and Justice Aniruddha Mayee made the observation while hearing a public interest litigation (PIL) petition related to the poor condition of two heritage bridges in Rajkot.
"It (Secularism) should be adopted by all religions and citizens in India and it cannot be selective. To respect other religions is also a formal part of fundamental duties," said the retired Supreme Court judge.
