Law Enforcement Agencies Unite To Honor Fallen Trooper Local law enforcement officers joined others around the state last week in honoring Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Chad Walker, who was shot and killed on the job in Limestone County Friday, March 26. Governor Greg Abbott asked all law enforcement officers in the state to turn on their red and blue flashing lights for one minute and observe a moment of silence at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 1, to honor Trooper Walker and all officers in the state. Local agencies gathered around the Hill County Courthouse in Hillsboro to flash their lights and participate, and others participated in individual cities throughout the county.

GROESBECK, Texas (KWTX) - Services have been scheduled in Groesbeck for slain Central Texas
Public visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. next Tuesday at Groesbeck Funeral Home at 1215 East Yeagua St.
The funeral home will be open to receive visitors from 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. daily including Good Friday, but will be closed on Easter Sunday.
