Thereâs a new chicken sandwich landing at Chick-fil-A restaurants nationwide â and itâs spicy.
The Grilled Spicy Chicken Deluxe Sandwich will be available at participating Chick-fil-A restaurants starting Monday, the company said in a news release.
It joins several other chicken sandwiches in the chainâs lineup, including the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, the Grilled Chicken Sandwich and the fan-favorite Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich.
The Grilled Spicy Chicken Deluxe Sandwich features grilled chicken marinated in a spicy seasoning with colby jack cheese, lettuce and tomato on a multigrain brioche bun.
Dennis Sampier is the franchise owner/operator of the Shelby Township location, according to a news release.
Before becoming a franchise owner, Sampier worked in professional sports, including 11 years as vice president of community relations with the Detroit Pistons and executive director of Palace Sports & Entertainment.
In Northville Township, Phil Whitsel is the franchise owner/operator. Whitsel previously worked in the shopping center industry.
Both locations will open as drive-thru only. You can also order through the Chick-fil-A mobile app. Hours will be 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
In place of its usual meal giveaway to the first 100 customers, Chick-fil-A will instead surprise 100 local heroes that are making an impact in metro Detroit with free Chick-fil-A for a year.
