In a ground-breaking move towards inclusivity, the Greystones Town Team and Greystones Municipal District St Patrick’s Day Parade organising committee will introduce a ‘quiet zone’ as part of this year’s parade.
Independent Councillor and Peace Commissioner Stephen Stokes has been elected as the new Cathaoirleach of the Greystones Municipal District, at a ceremony which took place at the December meeting as outgoing Cathaoirleach, Councillor Mark Barry, thanked all the elected members gathered for the opportunity to serve as chairperson.
