The Cathaoirleach of Greystones Municipal District Councillor Stephen Stokes is to contest the 2024 Local Elections, on Friday, June 7, as an Independent candidate and has pledged to protect biodiversity, improve infrastructure and push for more schools.
Cllr Stephen Stokes, Cathaoirleach of the Greystones Municipal District, welcomed Sinn Féin President Mary Lou McDonald and Wicklow Sinn Féin TD Deputy John Brady to Greystones, while Deputy McDonald was on a whistle stop tour of the county on Thursday, February 15.
It was a case of better late than never for the new residents of Aldborough Manor and Hawkins Wood, in Greystones, who took part in their unique Street Feast on Saturday, July 1, for a community get together organised by Greystones Family Resource Centre and Tuath Housing Association.
