SPRINGFIELD Big Y has already done a dozen on-site COVID-19 vaccination clinics for employers, and is open to doing more as vaccine supplies increase and demand troublingly for public health officials starts to lag.
“It is about trust,” said Jennifer Salvon, Big Y pharmacy services manager. “The goal is to get as many people vaccinated as quickly as we can. And the way to do that is to bring the vaccine to places where people are, in an environment where they feel comfortable.”
