fans at another stadium, this one in cairo setting bleachers on fire angry that the league stopped all games for the day. protesters are rallying the streets. many believe the police were too slow to intervene. amazing video and horrible ending. happy ending to a scary situation in brentwood, california, last night. rescue crews saving a guy who was trapped up to his neck for three hours in a muddy trench. he was doing work in front of a house. it s not known how he got stuck in the 10 foot deep trench. crews removed the dirt by hand as they gave him oxygen and intravenous fluids as well. he s now listed in stable condition. lucky to be alive. the economy so bad, new york city s welfare agency is on a hiring spree. it s adding more than 200 workers to handle a flood of people now requesting food stamps and rent assistance. the number of new yorkers now receiving food stamps doubling to almost 1.8 million people over the past four years.
what s interesting and curious as well is with this small print out there, why didn t newt gingrich mention this before the primary? i don t know. the interesting thing is he has the former attorney general in florida bill mccullum, i guess, making his fight for him. he was on greta s show last night and he had this to say. it s a rule, it says up front that s what happens and i have reason to believe just talking anecdotally as to various national committee men and women, there were quite a few of them on that committee who are very, very unhappy that the chairman isn t choosing to enforce this rule. like a he said/she said. proportional ruling got mitt romney two delegates in south carolina and it s about the same distance between them. you re probably debating something that s not worthy of our time. if florida holds with the number of delegates they ve got right now, romney would have 23, newt would have 16. but if they restored them, you know, because they ve sanctioned
