Cable car system from Nuwara Eliya to Nanu Oya also planned

Plans are underway to build a motor racing track between the Nuwara Eliya Race Course and Nuwara Eliya Gregory Lake, the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing said.
The Ministry said the implementation of the Nuwara Eliya District Tourism Development Zone in an environmentally friendly manner will commence the project this weekend under the instructions of the President and Prime Minister.
Both sides of the roads from Kitulgala to Nuwara Eliya, Nuwara Eliya to Kandy and Nuwara Eliya to Badulla will be developed as a special tourist zone to attract local and foreign tourists.
