White House Statement on Gas Lines Beginning on East Coast as Fuel Starts Runing Out

White House Statement on Gas Lines Beginning on East Coast as Fuel Starts Running Out Rising unemployment, massive inflation, “stagflation” and now gas lines…  Looks like that recent meeting with Jimmy Carter was about recreating the 1970s. The White House responds to fuel shortages appearing in the mid-Atlantic and southeast: “The President continues to be regularly briefed on the Colonial Pipeline incident.  The Administration is continually assessing the impact of this ongoing incident on fuel supply for the East Coast. We are monitoring supply shortages in parts of the Southeast and are evaluating every action the Administration can take to mitigate the impact as much as possible.

Biden is the New Carter, and we Now Have the Gas Lines to Prove it

That Maya Angelou quote comes to mind: “When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.” We had 47 years of that first-time experience with Senator and Vice President Joe Biden. We knew he had failed up throughout his political career and made more bad policy decisions than Pelosi’s had Botox injections. Yet Biden still managed to be installed as President because, “mean tweets!”, or something. Candidate Biden tried to do a song and dance about ending energy production in the United States, but no one wanted to believe that he actually would. After President Biden’s Day One executive order killing the Keystone XL Pipeline, then others that put a moratorium on fracking and domestic gas production, I think it’s apparent that he meant what he said the first time.

Various Reports of Gas Lines and Gas Shortages Across Twitter – Investment Watch

My in-laws are visiting us, we live in MD, they are staying in Alexandria, VA. They just told us that the gas station by their hotel was out of gas last night! Mf no wonder we are going into a gas shortage, everyone and their mother is at the gas station tonight Oof, those gas station lines were long. Anyway, just got the plant-based groceries. I have no idea what people are talking about when they said there’s little protein sources in a plant-based diet; there’s A LOT and I mean it in all caps. pic.twitter.com/vaa8lYqEet

Monday, May 10, 2021 Gas Stations Start to Run Dry in Southeast U.S. Because of Pipeline Ransomware Shutdown The Colonial pipeline shut down because of a ransomware attack is starting to wreak havoc in the southeast where gas station owners have fewer alternative sources for gasoline. From South Carolina: This is crazy. I stopped for gas just now having no idea what was happening. It’s out. People here told me they’d been to other stations and found the same. pic.twitter.com/7LDVdUXPo4 Greg Suskin (@GSuskinWSOC9) May 11, 2021 Colonial Pipeline Co. Chief Executive Officer Joseph Blount warned state officials in a private meeting Monday that supply shortages could occur even as it plans to reopen the line later this week, reports Bloomberg.

Some local gas stations see shortages amid Colonial Pipeline shutdown

‘Panic-buying’ leaving gas stations dry amid Colonial Pipeline shutdown WSOCTV.com News Staff Many local gas stations are running out of fuel while others are raising prices amid the Colonial Pipeline shutdown. Channel 9 was out at several gas stations early Wednesday and most of them had cars lined up with drivers waiting to fill their tanks. One driver said he had waited for more than four hours before sunrise to fill up. Some drivers have been waiting for hours overnight to fuel up at this gas station along Ballantyne Commons Parkway. I talked to one driver who told me he ran out of gas & had to push his car to the one working pump here. @wsoctvpic.twitter.com/WA9FpoNPxx Anthony Kustura (@AnthonyWSOC9) May 12, 2021
