The Eagles will shift their focus to the road, as Colorado will play the next seven games away from the Budweiser Events Center. The road trip kicks off Friday night with a four-game set against the Texas Stars. This is the first time the two teams have faced-off against each other since March 11th, 2020 - the last game Colorado played before the AHL season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Colorado looks to get back in the win column when they visit the Texas Stars on Friday. Eleven players of the Eagles roster have been recalled by the Avalanche and will be unavailable for the trip in Texas. Defenseman Miles Gendron and forward Riley Woods will make the trip after both were signed to professional tryout agreements earlier this week. Also making the trip is Martin Kaut who has missed the beginning of the season due to injury.
The Colorado Avalanche once again rallied from a two-goal deficit but ended up falling 3-2 to the Arizona Coyotes on Monday night at Ball Arena.It was the third straight contest that Colorado tied the game after trailing by 2-0 at one point, but this time it couldn t come away with any points in the standings.
