A Chicago police officer who was criminally charged in connection with an on-duty shooting at a busy CTA platform during rush hour in 2020 was found not guilty by a judge.
The Anne Arundel County State’s Attorney’s Office decided last week not to prosecute a county police officer who fatally shot a 20-year-old in a Crofton struggle this January, according to the state Attorney General’s office, which is expected to release its investigation of the shooting to the public in coming weeks.
