As civil suit begins, prosecutors decline criminal charges in Anne Arundel police shooting of Crofton man

The Anne Arundel County State’s Attorney’s Office decided last week not to prosecute a county police officer who fatally shot a 20-year-old in a Crofton struggle this January, according to the state Attorney General’s office, which is expected to release its investigation of the shooting to the public in coming weeks.
