This is a horrendous loss of life, this is devastating, that a 16 yearold, child, can be walking, to his high school , and be gunned down. For someone to make sure that we provide condolences to the parents, and the family of the young man who lost his life this way. Should be sitting in classroom, should be bettering himself, academically. But, unfortunately he is not. Reporter unfortunately deadly shooting at 7 58 this morning was just beginning of the gunfire in the city, but within four hours authorities were called to three more shootings nearby, the last one an officer involved shooting. Outside School Waiting to pick up their children. We have seen several scared parents coming down here after this mornings shooting and heres what authorities are telling us so far about this shooting. They say a little before 8 00 this morning, Chester Police, report a 16 yearold male had his backpack on walking to Chester High School when gunfire rang out. Teen was shot multiple times along 11th street and after being shot he ran. He eventually collapsed and was found dead just a few blocks away, authorities are reporting a short while later a little after 9 00 there was a second round of gunfire that rang out nearby but unsure if those two incidents are related. The police responded, they found a 16 yearold male, and called medics, he is unresponsive. The medics were pronouncing him dead at the scene. We are investigating that. After that was a separate shooting in the 1300 block of west ninth. When that happened, the school put everybody on lock down in case there was an issue. It

Reporter now that councilman oh is back home recovering, police in southWest Philadelphia are focused on finding his attacker who was last seen running away from the scene near 58th and thomas avenue. Councilman oh talked to us about the attack on his doorstep yesterday after he was discharged from penn presbyterian. He eaven showed where he was stabbed and a cut on his arm that he got trying to defend himself from the attacker swinging the weapon at his face.
