New Delhi: The Supreme Court's decision to strike down the electoral bond scheme will help bring in transparency in political funding and protect the interest of people, Congress leader Jaya Thakur, who had challenged the scheme in the apex court, said on Thursday.
Key border points connecting Delhi with its satellite towns are choked amid multiple diversions ahead of a mega farmers' march to the national capital.
The police have recommended utilizing metro services to mitigate inconvenience caused by traffic diversions. They have also imposed restrictions on various types of vehicles, including goods vehicles traveling to Delhi via Yamuna Expressway to Noida/Greater Noida Expressway, as well as vehicles heading to Surajpur via Sira and Parichowk. The Delhi Chalo March, orchestrated by approximately 200 farmers unions and a significant number of farmers, is slated to arrive in the national capital on February 13.
