Residents in the Perth and greater Mandeville areas in Manchester are expected to soon benefit from improved water supply as the National Water Commission (NWC) embarks on a six-month water improvement project.
The project is to commence on Monday, January 11.
The commission recently advised residents of Perth Road and Waltham Road in Mandeville that its contractor, Jamaica Drip Irrigation Limited, is to commence the next phase of the Greater Mandeville Water Supply Improvement Project, Phase 1B-L. The project works will involve the construction/installation of 2.0km of 250mm (10 ) ductile iron pipelines from Waltham/Perth Road intersection along the Waltham Road, through Perthland Drive and terminating at the National Housing Trust s (NHT) Perth Development Tank, an NWC flyer stated.
