Oyate Health Center hosting mass testing for COVID-19

Oyate Health Center hosting mass testing for COVID-19 December 24, 2020 RAPID CITY, S.D. Another mass COVID-19 testing will take place courtesy of Oyate Health and the Great Plains Tribal Leadership Health Board. Although cases in the state have been on a downward trend, the Health Board feels it’s a good time for another round of testing. The goal is to further track the progress of the virus, and possibly slow its spread, so it will host a mass testing from  8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., December 28 through 31, free of charge. Oyate Health will be able to provide tests results on-site. Any follow up will have to be done with the person’s health care provider.

Oyate Health Center to host mass testing for COVID-19 December 22, 2020 RAPID CITY –The Oyate Health Center is set to host a community-wide COVID-19 testing event in its additional location at 725 North LaCrosse Street in Rapid City. Testing will be available from  8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., December 28-31, for all who wish to be tested. “While we have seen a decline in new cases across the state this the past week, we believe that there is still a high number of positive cases in Pennington County.
