AEW Dark recap (May 11 2021): Booty butt booty butt booty butt cheeks

Episode 88 of AEW Dark featured Max Caster comparing backsides with Sonny Kiss, a new valet for the Varsity Blonds, Diamante picking a feud with Kris Statlander, and Brian Cage in a rowdy HOSS FIGHT! The top moment from Dark was Max Caster’s rap. The Acclaimed made their way to the ring to face off with Sonny Kiss and Joey Janela. Caster rapped about the infamous ‘Sunny days’ reference and used The Boondocks reference to make the outrageous claim that he has a better derriere than Kiss. “Hey yo Sonny, what you say? Let’s keep it old school. We can have Sunny days. On second thought, I think I’ll pass. You’re not that cute, and I got a better ass. Booty butt booty butt booty butt cheeks.”

AEW Dark recap (May 4, 2021): Leyla Hirsch picks up signature win

AEW Dark recap (May 4, 2021): Leyla Hirsch picks up signature win Share this story Episode 87 of AEW Dark featured Leyla Hirsch earning a signature win, Dante Martin on a hot streak, and Lance Archer hossing it up with Luther. When the Dark lineup was announced, there was one match in particular that I was looking forward to. That would be Leyla Hirsch versus Diamante. Both have unique styles backed up by fierce intensity. This bout was set up last week during Dark: Elevation when Diamante displayed poor sportsmanship after losing a tag match to Hirsch and Ryo Mizunami. The two competitors tussled on the mat to start. Diamante escaped a rear waist lock with a back elbow and countered into a cazadora stunner. Hirsch rallied with two German suplexes, a running knee, corner smashes, and a side suplex. Diamante still had enough juice to kick out of the cover. Fisticuffs were engaged with both wrestlers swinging wildly. Hirsch used a trip to take down Diamante then transition in

AEW Dark recap (Apr 27, 2021): Former Lucha Underground champion debuts

AEW Dark recap (Apr. 27, 2021): Former Lucha Underground champion debuts Share this story Episode 86 of AEW Dark featured the debut of Marty Martinez, Lance Archer murdering, and the next chapter in the feud between the Hardy Family Office and the Dark Order. The rouge’s gallery passing through Dark has seen many faces. Some are more familiar than others. One in particular stood out in this episode as a former Lucha Underground champion. That man is Marty “The Moth” Martinez, using his real name Martin Casaus. Casaus’ appearance is not a huge shocker, but it is still cool for fans of Lucha Underground. Last month, he posted an image of his journey taking him to the Nightmare Factory. It made logical sense that it was only a matter of time before he would pop up on AEW programming. Tonight was that night. Casaus stepped into the ring against fellow Lucha Underground alum “The Machine” Brian Cage, who was flanked by Hook.

AEW Dark results: Hardy Family Office vs Dark Order trios match

The Acclaimed defeated D3 and Fuego del Sol  This was The Acclaimed s second match back as a team following Anthony Bowens knee injury as they returned last night on Elevation. Bowens flew in the ring with a hangman’s neckbreaker, pulling D3 down into a backstabber/lungblower from Max Caster.  A short time later, Bowens hit a flashy uranage and Caster came off the top with an elbow drop for the win. Mike and Matt Sydal defeated David Ali & Aaron Frye  Ali was singled out by the Sydals for most of the match. Frye got in to break up a pinfall attempt from Mike after a standing moonsault. He then hit a sky high on Mike for a near fall. Mike used a matrix-esque move to evade a clothesline and tag in Matt who hit Frye with a fisherman s buster. The Sydals then hit him with a double lightning spiral for the win.
