problem is we continue to send bills over to the senate which under mitch mcconnell has been a legislative grave ward. allow a lot of those bills to have passed the house of representatives where the democratic majority to even come up for a vote. what if anything can you do about it? we ll have to raise the stakes and have a public discussion so that the public can decide do we want a functional senate or are we going to replace the senate. at the end of the day, the senate needs to at least put forth some ideas as to how they re going to confront the issues that are top of mind for the american people, which include the skyrocketing out-of-control health care costs as well as our desire to try to find a bipartisan pathway to fix our crumbling bridges, roads, tunnels, airports, and mass transportation system. we know the president sometimes signals he wants to do it and at other times throws a temper tantrum, runs off to the far east and claims democrats are not interested in tryi
