At $7, this Homemade Noodle with Prawns was the priciest dish of this list, but it was also arguably the best. Thick springy ban mian in a piping hot soup that was light on the palate, and a heap of ikan bilis for good measure.
The prawns were juicy and fresh, and a true delight when dipped in their accompanying chilli sauce, which packed a good spice kick with tangy flavour to boot. We couldn’t help but slurp up this bowl like human vacuum cleaners. The wait can get long, but we’re telling you it’s worth it.
