That enter ramp to 17 from hamilton is shutdown so at one point they had all lanes closed through their. It looks like they may have opened one lane on the northbound side of 17. The fire is burning in the foothills near a born road near san jose evergreen neighborhood. Kpix 5s anne makovec is following the fire from the live news desk. Reporter been watching video from chopper 5 overhead. The fire has been burning for about 35 minutes. And already you can see all of the ground that it has covered. We are hearing between 40 and 50 acres, but it still does have the potential to grow significantly.
