This was a relatively quick cleanup especially compared to yesterdays wrong way fatal accident. This happen, the driver started driving the wrong way at 880 and coleman. Chp says she had been driving quite a long way starting around 3 40 this morning. She was driving for more than three miles before she crashed. This is an asian woman in her late 20s who was driving a honda accord south of on the northbound side of 17. She collided with a Toyota Avalon and a honda accord driver was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the Toyota Avalon survived and was taken to a local hospital with an injury. Chp said with this being the second runway driving fatality in a matter of days they have a message for drivers. We just have to Pay Attention were getting on the freeway. So, a lot of times people are they going to work or whatnot so make sure you Pay Attention to the signs. Reporter this was the scene yesterday on the southbound side of highway one in pacifica around 3 15 in the morning when a driver collided headon with the mercedes suv. The dodge driver died on scene.
