On this day of remembrance, bay area residents found the coronavirus made changes in tradition but it wont stop it even if it means memorializing in masks. Being here and seeing all these veterans that have lost their life for our country to keep us safe, for our freedom. Its heartwarming and touching and sad at the same time. An additional honor lifted off this memorial day in Mountain View. The California Air National Guard 100 and 29 rescue wing took off to help healthcare providers, First Responders and other essential workers. We are honored to do this to show the militarys appreciation for people on the front lines. Several planes and helicopters flew over 50 locations in the south bay including Valley Medical Center in san jose. Im honored and thankful and sorry this had to happen that the occasion is here for this to happen, but im grateful for the acknowledgment for myself and my call workers.
