They were involved in violent collisions and were just parked cars. The only thing of value was the vin. And then rented similar cars from local Car Companies and reported them stole and replaced the vin from salvaged junk cars. This was a details criminal organization with many moving parts. Today the District Attorney announc announced 31 of the 32 coconspirators are behind bars except for one. People were left with no cars and no money. I felt like the grinch going around and knocking on peoples doors and taking their cars. The rental cars are returned to the rental Car Companies and the hope for the other victim is that they get restitution once the case goes to trial.
