The setup, a Satellite Six with action radar is showing what we have going on here with very strong bubble of High Pressure. It is a blocking High Pressure. Storm systems just cant move in and with that high over us we will get sinking air. So that keeps us with full sunshine during the day, and clear skies at night. The next 12 hearst will show you it is a chilly night with temperatures in philadelphia dropping down in the lower 40s, before we rise up, to about 60 degrees, by lunchtime, tomorrow and then it will keep warming. Riverlike it was when you looked at it from overhead. Philadelphias Water Department says they started getting cams at about 8 30 this morning about a massive amount of water flowing down germantown avenue toward jefferson. They did have to evacuate a day care as a precaution. We were told no injuries there, and they do not believe they had any water in the basement. Thats a key element that the Water Department is looking at is how many homes along here were affected, had water damage at all. In this particular case, the Water Department says this was work that had been ongoing for in time. Residents were not expecting to wake up to this today. It come fast. I couldnt cross the street. Couldnt even cross the street. All on the sidewalk, the water, dirt, everything. Reporter neighbors said that the work here at germantown had been going on since the summertime. Now an amazing tale of survivor. A boater who never came back from a short thanksgiving sail. The coast guard had given up. He never did. Two weeks later hes back an dry land. Abcs ted rowlands has the story. Reporter 67yearold ron ingram went for a thanksgiving day sail off the coast of hawaii when his boat started ta eed ta water. Mayday, mayday. Im in the middle of alenuihai channel. Reporter the coast guard heard his call and launched a massive 12,000squaremile search for the experienced fisherman. After four days and 59 search and rescue flights there was no sign of ron or his boat. Gans the wishes of rons son, a decision was made to call off the search. I said, man, i dont think you should call off the search because i dont think hes gone. Then Tuesday Morning after 12 days of radio silence. Mayday, this is the malia. Anybody picking this up.
