Change the oil regularly, wash it properly, and avoid potholes. If you’re not doing these and a slew of other things we list here, you may be shortening its lifespan.
appears to be referring to iran s removal of surveillance cameras last june. this was first trip to the islamic republic since before the incident and four days after the iaea reported they ve detected uranium that had been enriched up to 83.7%. that s just short, just shy of weapons grade material raising concern the iranians may be speeding up enrichment program. the iaea says they haven t found a loft this fuel and the iranians just say it s smaller by-product, insignificant by-product of lower grade fuel they ve been openly producing for some time now. the concern, of course, mike, is if iran is able to accumulate enough uranium that s enriched to 90%, just a few more percent than where they are now, then
political targets. they have never made any effort it can t be made into a bomb? it s different? the fuel in a nuclear reactor is enriched to 3%, whereas bomb grade fuel has to be enriched up to 90%. it two different things. i m appalled that even nasa doesn t tell the public of the nuclear fuel in their rockets because they re afraid people won t like it. if it so good, why does nuclear power need all these subsidies? it s the price anderson act. george bush, $20 million in nuclear loan guarantees. they are taking a risk to some extent on the part of the public, but the public needs to
false. that s one i hear about a lot. if you look at the side of a tire there are all kinds of numbers there that give you specifications. serial numbers, names, size. tread wear. this is information about the tire, not the tire on the car. that information, you want to look at a sticker located in the driver s doorjamb. that will tell you what s appropriate for that tire on that car. you go out in the 20-degree weather and open the door and look at the door itself? right. it will tell you exactly what it should be. maybe take an iphone picture of it so you have it. not a bad idea? not bad. if regular grade fuel is good, premium, of course, must be better. sounds like it makes sense. does that make sense? intuitively premium sound great but the reality is the vast majority of cars, regular is just fine. the key for this information is look inside the fuel filler door. it will say one of three things. it will say regular, in which case is the answer.
good to have you with us. you say it may be safe to switch to regular but people may be fearful about that. help allay those fears. okay. well it comes down to two words, and those two words are required versus recommended. a number of cars, particularly luxury cars, where they recommend premium fuel. but it s very safe to switch to using regular fuel. there s a small number of performance cars where it requires the higher grade fuel, premium fuel, and in those cases you absolutely do have to use it. it s not so much that your car will stop running immediately but the longevity of the car may be affected. so you won t necessarily notice engine knocking or fill up, say you re down half a tank and you decide to use the lower grade quality gasoline and you mix that together, you re not going to notice some performance difference? well, there may be a very miniscule performance
