false. that s one i hear about a lot. if you look at the side of a tire there are all kinds of numbers there that give you specifications. serial numbers, names, size. tread wear. this is information about the tire, not the tire on the car. that information, you want to look at a sticker located in the driver s doorjamb. that will tell you what s appropriate for that tire on that car. you go out in the 20-degree weather and open the door and look at the door itself? right. it will tell you exactly what it should be. maybe take an iphone picture of it so you have it. not a bad idea? not bad. if regular grade fuel is good, premium, of course, must be better. sounds like it makes sense. does that make sense? intuitively premium sound great but the reality is the vast majority of cars, regular is just fine. the key for this information is look inside the fuel filler door. it will say one of three things. it will say regular, in which case is the answer.
