One is a new hotel adjacent to the Convention Center with a new parking ramp. Second is an agriculture and Expo Learning Center near the site of the former john morrell plant. And third new housing in the 100 block of virginia street. All of which Economic Development director Mark Dougherty says will be beneficial to the city. They kind of work nicely in a district, i wish the district was bigger, were trying to fit everything in there, its kinda tight, um its really an opportunity for the community to tap into state resources as we have in the past, with projects like the Tyson Event Center or the orpheum, that have been of lasting value.
