Reforming PCOO bureaucracy tough : Andanar

Andanar admitted that pushing for reforms to improve the government's communication and information services was no easy task because the agency has been neglected for so long. During a workshop held Tuesday in preparation for the handover of documents to the next administration, Andanar said the PCOO and its attached agencies have made significant strides under his leadership. "It is very important to explain to them what we have done and why we did it. Let us show them the rationale behind our programs and give them compelling reasons why these should be carried on. We should also give them a broad picture of our offices - our structure, functions, our people, our assets as well as our liabilities," he said. In an interview over PolitikoTV Channel on Wednesday, Andanar said he has not received any offers to join Villar's Advanced Media Broadcasting Systems (AMBS).
