GUWAHATI: Kamrup (Metropolitan) district has been affected the worst by the fresh wave of COVID-19 infection with the death of seven persons and doubling of positive cases in the last ten days.
On April 9, 2021, the district had reported 153 positive cases. It was followed by 145 on April 10, 186 on April 11, 193 on April 12, 201 on April 13, 249 on April 14, 255 on April 15, 245 on April 16, 360 on April 17, and 354 on April 18.
