The finishing touches have been added to the final mural on the town s colourful Civic Square, marking the completion of the colourful Gorey Tidy Towns art wall.
District Manager Michael Drea paid tribute to the group and all the local artists who created the murals, namely Kate Kos, James Kirwan, Amanda Doran and Nonie Stafford. I would like to commend Gorey Tidy Towns who have worked closely with Wexford County Council to deliver a stunning wall of murals. The murals showcase the depth of artistic talent in the area and I would like to acknowledge their work and creativity. We look forward to unveiling some stunning new murals in the future which are currently at concept stage, he said.
