Wavemaker Taiwan promotes Chris Lo to MD Details
Wavemaker Taiwan has promoted current general manager Chris Lo to managing director with immediate effect.
In his previous role as general manager, Lo has effectively led the transformation of the agency at large since joining in 2019. Wavemaker Taiwan said its business has thrived in elevation of both market positioning and business size, along with growing client satisfaction reflected by the high scoring in the GroupM vantage survey.
“The speed of change for the media and advertising industry has been revolutionising in the past few years, requiring transformative ways of approach to provide new growth opportunities for businesses today, said Lo.
Lo has more than two decades of industry experience.
Media, content, and tech agency, Wavemaker Taiwan has promoted Chris Lo from General Manager to the Managing Director role.
Lo has effectively led the transformation of the agency at large since joining in 2019. He has two decades of experience in media related roles across Greater China in Taiwan, Beijing, and Shanghai. Prior to Wavemaker, he was the Client & Strategy Lead of Volkswagen at Mediacom China.
“In his time at Wavemaker, Chris has demonstrated exemplary leadership. He has worked with honesty, integrity and passion to transform our Taiwan business into an agency with market leading strategic and digital capability,” said Gordon Domlija, CEO of Wavemaker APAC.
Campon joins Wavemaker from Dentsu where he was APAC Client President.
Wavemaker today announced the appointment of Jose Campon as CEO for China. Campon, who fills the role previously held by Gordon Domlija, joins Wavemaker from Dentsu where he was APAC Client President.
According to Wavemaker, China has been a driver of the global network’s strong growth in APAC, with US $1.1 billion worth of new business wins and retentions, including Huawei, Daimler, Xiaohongshu, Pernod Ricard, Perfetti Van Melle, Meituan and Prada in China.
