The President’s Week project is intended for those, who want to keep up with the head of state, be up-to-date on the latest statements and decisions of the Belarusian leader.
The event is voluntary. On this day, Belarusians will take action to make their communities a better place, to landscape and tidy up historical and cultural sites, memorial complexes, places of military and military glory, burials of soldiers and partisans of the Great Patriotic War. A cleanup day can be held at workplaces.
20 April is the national cleanup day in Belarus. Residents of Gomel Oblast have teamed up to landscape the memorial complex to the children - victims of the war in the village of Krasny Bereg.
