The incident happened at Lothunur village on February 22. The man named Thanugulla Satish had brought the rooster for an illegal cockfight. A knife known as kodi kathi was tied to the leg of the bird. It accidentally cut into the groin of Satish. The man who was bleeding profusely was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
