South Africa’s Garrick Higgo cruised to his second victory in three weeks with the aid of a hole-in-one in the final round of the Canary Islands Championship.
Higgo, who won the Gran Canaria Lopesan Open a fortnight ago, aced the par-three seventh at Golf Costa Adeje in a closing 64 to finish six shots clear of Australia’s Maverick Antcliff.

Richard Mansell is looking to use his experience from last season s Euram Bank Open as he goes in search of a first European Tour win at the 2021 Canary Islands Championship.
The Englishman carded a bogey free 64 to sit two shots behind leaderGarrick Higgo after 54 holes at Golf Costa Adeje but this will not be his first time in the final group on a Sunday despite him playing in just his ninth European Tour event.
He was in the same position last summer at Golf Club Adamstal and finished second to Joël Stalter as he continued his rise in the golfing world.
