The city will be operating a dozen free drop-off locations starting Dec. 26 and ending Jan. 7 where residents can leave their trees. For anyone unable to drop their trees off at one of the 12 locations the city will pick up Christmas trees from the homes of anyone whose trash is picked up by the city on Jan. 8.
