Then a lot of the crowd that gathered here at Mission Dolores park started to make their way northeast. Thats where Mission Police station is. Where that station is located. Just about a half mile away from the park. But, you can see, right here, even some of the social distancing circles. About 20 minutes ago, you could not see it. Its was that backed. There has been movement already. People making their way outside, i talked to organizers before this protest started. They said they wanted it to be peaceful today. Back to that breaking news we were telling you about which we have been following for more than nearly 12 hours now, the deadly shooting rampage at the gilroy garlic festival. This happened a little before 6 00 last night, at the Christmas Hill park where that festival has been going on for decad decades. Here is the latest. Three people dead including a 6yearold boy, and were just getting an update on the number of people injured. Gilroy police are now saying 12 people were hurt. Police responded in less than a minute, and killed the gunman. Hes not been identified but sources tell our Investigative Unit the gunman was not on anyones radar as a threat. Witnesses talked about a possible second person involved but authorities are still trying to sort that out. There was an extensive search last night. Were expecting another News Conference at 10 00 a. M. This morning.

Reporter authorities think Kevin Anthony alaniz was hiding out near big sur, that is when he shot several rounds hikers ran to get help. Park rangers eventually tracked down Kevin Anthony alaniz who aimed his gun prompting them to fire. He died at the scene. Investigators later found over 300 rounds of ammunition in his backpack. After the incident in Monterey County in big sur, his name was checked. Notified them that he had an active warning out in Santa Clara County. Reporter authorities realize that Kevin Anthony alaniz was the suspect in the 680 shooting that killed matthew rios. They do not believe there is a connection to other freeway shootings in recent weeks. They did know each other and this was a targeted incident, not a r
