Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has stated that the agenda of the INDIA alliance is to eradicate Sanatan Dharma, and Hindus need to oppose this. He referred to a remark by Tamil Nadu minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, who called for the eradication of Sanatan Dharma, and said it was a planned statement. Sawant also expressed support for the concept of "one nation, one election," stating that it would promote faster development in the country. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the success of the G20 summit.
"Mughal rulers like Babar, the British and the Portuguese, who came to Goa with the agenda of forced conversion, had tried to eradicate the Sanatan Hindu religion, but all of them failed. Now, the partners of the INDIA alliance together want to erase the Sanatan Dharma," Sawant told a press conference here.
