A soldier who sexually assaulted two female Gunners aged 17 and 20 at an Army barracks after sharing seven bottles of gin and two crates of beer with friends has been jailed for two years.
Gunner Wiliame Mataitini attacked his victims at 4am after entering the wrong accommodation at Alanbrooke Barracks, Topcliffe, North Yorkshire.
A Fijian national who recently learned his grandfather was unwell back in Asia, he even told one of the young women he could sense they were scared , a court was told.
Gnr Mataitini was sent to military prison for two years and dismissed from the military after pleading guilty to four charges of battery and three charges of sexual assault at Bulford Military Court, Wiltshire.
