Kohima, Oct. 28 (EMN): A two-day teachers training on use of teaching learning materials (TLM), teachers handbook on foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) and Vidya Pravesh 3-month play-based module under early childhood care and education (ECCE) got underwat at Educational Block Resource Centre (EBRC) in Pungro town under Kiphire aspirational district on October 28. Speaking at the inaugural programme, Hoshito Elias, SDEO of Pungro, dwelled on the importance of training to improve the quality of education in schools and urged the participants to take the training programme seriously. He also warned that action would be initiated against those teachers, who are found absent during the training, stated an update from EBRC Pungro. Delivering the keynote address, Kelhikha Kenye, deputy mission director of Samagra Shiksha Nagaland (SSN), informed that the training are being conducted in 46 EBRC in the state involving 132 resource persons and 6716 teachers from 1679 government schools.
